WTF are proxies?
We created Proxies for when you want something to drink but you’re not drinking. By blending wine grapes, fruits, teas, spices, and natural botanicals, Proxies go way beyond the grape to capture everything that makes wine a great pairing with food—without the alcohol.

Proxies are made by blending wine grapes, fruits, teas, spices, and natural botanicals for full-bodied flavor.

Crafted from scratch
Most non-alc wine loses what makes wine special. We build ours from the ground up to keep the experience.

Carefully sourced
Our blends feature Niagara wine grapes, premium teas, whole spices, and layered natural botanicals.

Designed for pairing
Texture, tannin, acidity, and balance. Perfect for dinner any day of the week.

Delicious Drinks
To Pair With Dinner
Proxies don't necessarily taste like a specific type of wine, but are always inspired by the flavor components that make wine a perfect pairing for food.
Core Components

Fruit
Wine uses grapes. Proxies use the whole orchard for a more complex sip.

Acidity
Tart citrus, crisp verjus, and infused vinegars add zing and complexity to every glass.

Spice
Global spices and herbs bring bold aroma and a smooth, lasting finish.

Body
Teas blended with fruit and wine grapes for a bold, bottle-worthy taste.
The five ss
to drinking proxies
1
See
Pour your Proxies into your best wine glasses. Now admire how nice your glassware is.
2
Swirl
Practice your somm moves. Swirling quickly exposes the liquid to oxygen, bringing forth all the aromatics.
3
Smell
Stick your nose in that fancy glass. You should start to get a hint of the fruits and spices. You’re likely also getting thirsty.
4
Sip
Take a small sip, swirl it around your mouth (again with the swirling!) and let the layers of flavor unfold.
5
Savor
Stop being so fancy and drink your Proxies. This is a dinner party, not a science experiment.
Proxies taste great on their own, but they truly shine with food. Designed for nights off from drinking, Proxies can even outshine wine at the table.
Ask A Somm
Top somms at The French Laundry and Atelier Crenn pair Proxies with Michelin-starred menus. Past collab star André Hueston Mack prefers a juicy burger.
