How many calories and sugar are in Proxies?

On average, there are 30-40 calories per glass serving of 5 fl oz (150mL), and 4-6g of sugar.

What are Proxies?

Proxies are layered blends of juices, teas, spices, bitters, and more with all the complexity of great wine, and none of the alcohol.

Proxies don’t necessarily taste exactly like any specific wine, but are designed to look, feel, and drink like wine. They have acidity, texture, tannin, and spice and are crafted to pair with food and be enjoyed in wine glasses. Wine, but not.

How do Proxies differ from non-alcoholic wine?

Conventional non-alcoholic wines are made by stripping the alcohol out of wine (usually cheap bulk wine, at that). The result is a drink that tastes next-to-nothing like the real thing. They’re sweet, lack complexity, and don’t pair well with food. Proxies, by contrast, are designed from the start with flavor and the ability to pair with food in mind. They’re designed to be an effective proxy, not a pale imitation. Instead of dealcoholized plonk, we craft layered blends of juices, teas, spices, bitters, and more. How should I store my Proxies?

Proxies have a one year shelf-life and are best stored in a cool dark place like you would with wine. After opening, pop the cork back in and enjoy within one week.

How should I serve my Proxies?

Proxies are best enjoyed in wine glasses and are designed to pair with food. For optimal flavor—or if you’re just feeling fancy—try decanting your Proxies before serving.

Are Proxies safe to drink during pregnancy?

We work hard to ensure that Proxies are free of harmful bacteria and safe for everyone to consume.

While Proxies are non-alcoholic beverages, they may contain trace amounts of alcohol, just like kombucha, or even foods containing vanilla extract. Proxies always fall below 0.5% alcohol by volume (the threshold to be classified as non-alcoholic according to the FDA and other regulatory agencies).

We are mindful that people make different choices when it comes to pregnancy, so if you’re concerned please consult your healthcare provider for more guidance.

Are Proxies vegan and gluten-free?

All Proxies are vegan and gluten-free.

Do Proxies contain caffeine?

Most Proxies are made with some form of caffeinated tea and typically contain about 1/4 the amount of caffeine as would be in a similar size serving of tea.

Can I get more nutritional information on Proxies?

Full nutritional information is available on each product page. Proxies are low in calories—typically about 1/4 of a glass of wine—and full of flavor.

What if I have a bad experience with Proxies?

If you have a bad order experience with Proxies, whether related to fulfillment or product quality, please send an email to and we will do our best to make things right. Note that we do not accept returns but will refund you for any damaged product or incorrect orders.

Shipping Questions

What is your free shipping threshold?

You will qualify for free shipping on orders over $100 in USA and over $125 in CAN.

Where do you ship?

Proxies are available for shipment throughout the United States and Canada. Excluding Hawaii, Alaska and, The Northwest Territories.

When will my Proxies ship?

It takes 5 days to process your order in addition to 3-9 days for shipping the order to you.

From start to finish your package will arrive at your door between 7-14 days after you place your order. Times vary depending on where you live.

You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships.

When do my subscription orders ship?

Proxies Club orders ship every 90 following your initial order. Subscriptions to other Proxies can be set to the interval of your choice.

All subscriptions can be paused, skipped, or canceled at any time.

What if my Shipping info is wrong or I need to make a change to my order?

If the shipping address that you have submitted is wrong and we haven’t shipped your order out yet, we will most gladly change your shipping address. Please contact us asap with your Name and Order Number and we will do our best to make this last-minute change for you.

If your package is shipped or in transit, unfortunately, we cannot intercept it at this point. You will have to contact your carrier and ask them if they can change the address on your package before it is delivered to the wrong address. If you cannot change the address in transit and the package is returned to sender, which happens to be Proxies, then we can reship the order for you. A shipping fee might be added in this case.

What’s your return policy?

If your product arrives broken/damaged in any way please include a photo. Please include a list of the specific items broken and we will make this right for you.

We do not offer refunds or accept returns for taste preferences. If you have any concerns or questions we are happy to help clarify.  We do carry a variety of options and hope you can find one or 3 you enjoy ;)
