Citrus juice is more common, but vinegar’s acidity makes an equally strong partner to alcohol’s depth and bite. Gin, strawberries, and rosé are summer staples for a reason—and they’re even better together, as in this simple sour cocktail.
Makes one cocktail
3 strawberries, topped and halved
1 tsp sugar
2 oz gin
1 tbsp Acid League Strawberry Rosé Living Vinegar
4 oz seltzer
ice cubes
DIRECTIONS
Place the strawberries in the bottom of a glass and top with the sugar.
Using a muddler or the end of a wooden spoon, crush the berries until they begin to release a bit of juice.
Let sit for 5 minutes.
Add gin and vinegar, stir to combine.
Top with ice and seltzer. Garnish with more strawberries, as desired, and serve.
