What are Living Tonics?

ACV you actually want to drink. Living Tonics are made with raw, unfiltered, living apple cider vinegar along with premium ingredients like third-wave dark roast coffee, passionfruit juice, and pure maple syrup for a healthy dose of flavor, and added functional ingredients like chaga, sea buckthorn, and Mānuka honey for an extra dose of wellness. Living Tonics are designed to be enjoyed every morning to kickstart your day.

Do Living Tonics contain living “mother” of vinegar?

Living Tonics are all raw, unfiltered, and contain living mother of vinegar. “Mother of vinegar” is a substance composed of a biofilm of cellulose and living acetic acid bacteria—best described as a jello-like disc or small slimy globules that you may have noticed floating in our vinegars. The mother provides a safe home for the bacteria to transform alcohol into acetic acid, creating vinegar. In industrial vinegar-making, the mother is filtered out but it’s completely harmless. In fact, we believe leaving the vinegar mother in brings increased health benefits since the beneficial bacteria aren’t removed from the finished product.

What are the main health benefits of Living Tonics?

Living Tonics contain prebiotics and postbiotics that have been shown to promote gut health, as well as added functional ingredients for even more health benefits than other raw ACV.

Chaga, found in the Coffee Chaga Maple Living Tonic, is an adaptogen packed with antioxidants that has been shown to reduce inflammation, improve immune function, and lower cholesterol.

Sea Buckthorn berries, found in the Passionfruit Oolong Living Tonic, are known for their high vitamin C content immune-boosting properties.

MGO 200+ Mānuka honey, found in the Vanilla Mānuka Spice Living Tonic, is known for its digestive healing, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Additionally, the acetic acid found in ACV has been shown to help control appetite and manage weight gain, as well as help maintain healthy blood sugar levels and healthy cholesterol levels.

Do Living Tonics contain caffeine?

The Passion Fruit Oolong Living Tonic contains about 3.5 mg of caffeine per serving, while the Coffee Chaga Maple Living Tonic contains about 15 mg per serving. For context, a cup of tea typically contains about 26 mg of caffeine, and a cup of coffee contains about 95 mg.

How should I store my Living Tonics?

Living tonics are shelf-stable and do not need to be refrigerated.

Can I customize my Living Tonics box?

Living Tonics are available as a mixed set containing one bottle of each of our three flavors, or in three-packs of a single flavor.
