TROPICAL MICHELADA
using Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce (available @ Whole Foods)
Yield: 2 servings
Nothing refreshes in the summer like a michelada—a Mexican beer cocktail made with lime juice, chili and spices. Our Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce (exclusively available at Whole Foods stores in the U.S.) is the basis for this sweet-and-savory cocktail that gets an extra tropical twist from guava juice and OJ.

Method
1. For the rim: In a small dish, combine equal parts salt and chili powder. Fresh lime zest can also be added. Set aside.
2. In a measuring cup or small pitcher, combine juice from one orange, guava juice, Pineapple Habanero Hot Sauce, Worcestershire, and Maggi sauce. This ensures that all ingredients are evenly combined. Set aside.
3. Assembly: Using a wedge of lime, wet the rim of two highball glasses. Dip or roll the rim of each glass in the salt, chili powder, and lime zest mixture. Tap off any excess. Fill the glasses halfway with ice and split the juice mixture between both glasses. Add the beer, garnish with a lime wedge, and serve with a stir stick or straw, along with any remaining beer on the side.
