Willamette hops add an extra dose of Oregonian flavor, bringing a hint of pepper and spice to the complex, layered finish.

What are Proxies?

We created Proxies for when you want something to drink but you’re not drinking. By blending wine grapes, fruits, teas, spices, and complex ferments, Proxies go way beyond the grape to capture everything that makes wine a great pairing with food—acidity, body, and tannin—without the alcohol. What do Proxies taste like?

Proxies don't necessarily taste like a specific type of wine, but are always inspired by the flavor components that make wine a perfect pairing for food. The four core components that make up the taste of Proxies are Fruit, Acidity, Spice and Body. Learn more here.

How do Proxies differ from non-alcoholic wine?

Conventional non-alcoholic wines are made by stripping the alcohol out of wine (usually cheap bulk wine, at that). The result is a drink that tastes next-to-nothing like the real thing. They’re sweet, lack complexity, and don’t pair well with food. Proxies, by contrast, are designed from the start with flavor and the ability to pair with food in mind. They’re designed to be an effective proxy, not a pale imitation. Instead of dealcoholized plonk, we craft layered blends of juices, teas, spices, bitters, and more.
